The Harmony in Diversity Award recognises individuals whose outstanding efforts strengthen social cohesion and harmony between people of different cultures in Southeast Asia.

Eligibility & Submission Standards

For organisational nominators and ASEAN citizen nominees; English-only submissions.

Who can nominate

Organisations only (e.g., government, intergovernmental organisation, business entity, academic institution, NGO, or other stakeholder).

Who can be nominated

Citizen of any ASEAN Member State (10 countries).

Language & format

English‑only submission via online form, including an impact write‑up and supporting materials (reports, links to visuals, articles, etc.).

Integrity & ethics

Unethical behaviour (misleading information or undue pressure) may result in disqualification and/or revocation.

How to Participate

Simple steps to complete your nomination in English.

STEP 1

Check Eligibility

Your organisation is the nominator; your nominee is a citizen of an ASEAN Member State. Review language and required materials.

STEP 2

Prepare Materials

Draft the impact write‑up and gather supporting documents (reports, links to visuals, articles).

STEP 3

Complete the Online Form

Submit your nomination in English with all materials via the online form.

STEP 4

Verification & Shortlisting

5P Secretariat verifies submissions; shortlisted entries proceed to the Judging Committee.

Feb 2026 — Judging Committee meets and decides.

Award Ceremony

Jul 2026 — Awardee honoured at the ceremony.

Monetary & Formal

  • USD 20,000 cash prize and the Harmony in Diversity Trophy.
